Manav Utthan Seva Samiti pledges Rs. 21 lakhs for India's battle against Coronavirus

Delhi, As the country grapples with increasing number of coronavirus cases the Manav Utthan Seva Samiti, the non-profit social welfare and
charitable organization founded by hon’ble cabinet minister of Uttarakhand,
Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj, today extended its support to the central government by
contributing a sum of Rs. 21 lakhs to PM Care Fund. In addition to the above
contribution, the samiti has also given the grant of Rs. 5 lakhs to Uttarakhand
Char Dhaam Devasthan Board.
Speaking
on the occasion Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj said “These
are extremely challenging times as the world battles the biggest healthcare
crisis of the modern era in the form of COVID-19 epidemic. We stand committed
to collectively support the efforts of the central government, under the
leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to mitigate the
impact of this crisis.”
In addition to the above contributions, Manav
Utthan Seva Samiti through its network of ashrams and its volunteer division
(Manav Sewa Dal) is reaching out to the under privileged people to provide them
with ration kits and other necessary items.
